The BDC offers special-interest group meetings to connect our members with each other and the resources they need to be successful. Participation in special interest groups is available to members at Tiers 2 and up.
Food & Beverage Industry Group
Meets semi-annually in the first and fourth quarters of the year
Currently, the BDC hosts a Food & Beverage Industry Group in partnership with the Illinois Restaurant Association. Restaurant, bar, and food operators from the western suburbs meet to discuss changes, challenges, and opportunities in the hospitality industry. Check the calendar for the next meeting.
Women in Business Group
Meets on the third Tuesday from Noon — 1:00PM

The BDC’s Women in Business Group is founded on the belief that we are better together than alone. The Women in Business Group is Berwyn’s first and only forum for women at all levels of business. Expect a lively discussion on issues important to your growth. Connect with other local professionals on a deeper level, learn new best practices, and build camaraderie with other women conquering the same challenges you face in your business and career. Berwyn After Hours Networking Events
Berwyn After Hours (BAHs) are networking events held exclusively for members at BDC member venues. Starting at Tier 3, BDC members can either host or sponsor events, which affords sponsors the opportunity to introduce their venue, products, and promotions. The BDC also partners with other organizations, including the Forest Park Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Oak Park River Forest Chamber of Commerce, Riverside Chamber of Commerce, and West Suburban Chamber of Commerce & Industry, in order to expand the reach of our local network in the region.
