The Berwyn Development Corporation (BDC) understands the challenges that come with running a small business. Our team aims to provide access to resources, events, and webinars to educate and uplift the business community.
Our partnerships with the City of Berwyn, the Cook County Small Business Source, and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity enable us to offer FREE business advising and access to tools that can elevate your business!

Educational Events
The BDC hosts several educational events throughout the year to equip businesses with the knowledge and resources needed to grow. We collaborate with experts to provide valuable insights to the business community. These events are also a great opportunity to connect with fellow business leaders, the BDC team, and our trusted partners. Examples of events include:

Business Advising

The BDC partners with the Cook County Small Business Source to support, grow, and elevate small businesses. Experience tailored support through FREE personalized business advising sessions with seasoned experts. These sessions can range from 30 minutes to 1 hour and can cover a range of topics include:
- Grant application assistance
- Business lending
- Start-up resources
- Marketing support & more!
This partnership also grants us access to the Source’s network of Business Support Organizations (BSOs). If we don't have the expertise or resources in-house, we can connect you with one of our trusted partners within the network of participating BSOs for specialized assistance.
