Giving Back is Good for Business
The BDC Board of Directors established a Philanthropic Committee that reviews applications into the Philanthropic Grant Program and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding the BDC's charitable giving efforts that align meaningfully with the BDC’s mission to benefit the City of Berwyn.
Berwyn-based not-for-profits will be asked to submit a grant application and a grant narrative for consideration. Both the application and narrative are due upon the application deadline.
There are two rounds of funding per year, each aligned with the application deadlines. Grants will be awarded within the month following each round of submissions.
Round 1 Application Dates:Â
Application Opens: March 1st, 2026
Application Deadline: April 30th, 2026
Round 2 Application Dates:Â
Application Opens:Â June 1st, 2026
Application Deadline:Â July 31st, 2026
