Berwyn Rt 66 Car Show Commission

The Berwyn Rt 66 Car Show Commission meets to discuss event planning for the Berwyn Route 66 Car Show.
Commercial Loan Commission
As needed (at least once per quarter)
The Commercial Loan Commission manages the City's and the BDC's commercial loan programs and increases access to capital for Berwyn businesses. The commission is comprised of members of the commercial loan pool and the BDC Board of Directors.
Economic Development Commission
3rd Thursday of the month at 8:30AM
The Economic Development Commission engages Berwyn's businesses, facilitates communications and advocates for economic development by providing applicable recommendations to the BDC Board.
Marketing & Special Events Commission
4th Tuesday of the month at 8:30AM
The Marketing & Special Events Commission considers collective marketing opportunities and coordinates community special events that promote the City of Berwyn, its commercial districts and businesses; improve the quality of life for Berwyn residents and attract visitors from outside of Berwyn. This group helps to manage events such as the Depot District Mini-Golf Pub Crawl, Cruise Nites, and Taste of Cermak Road.
Oktoberfest Event Ad Hoc Commission
1st Wednesday of the month at 6:15PM
The Oktoberfest Event Ad Hoc Commission meets to discuss event planning for its 2-day Oktoberfest.
Philanthropic Commission
Quarterly
The Philanthropic Commission reviews applications into the philanthropic grant program and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding the BDC's charitable giving efforts that align meaningfully with the BDC’s mission to benefit the City of Berwyn.
Sponsorship/Fundraising Commission
As needed
The Sponsorship/Fundraising commission meets to discuss sponsorships/funding opportunities for special events, including the Berwyn Rt 66 Car Show, Oktoberfest, etc.
Women in Business Ad Hoc Group
3rd Tuesday at 12pm
The BDC’s Women in Business Group is founded on the belief that we are better together than alone. The group is Berwyn’s first and only forum for women in all levels of business. Expect lively discussion on issues that are important to personal and professional growth. Connect with other local professionals on a deeper level, learn new best practices and build comradery with other women conquering the same challenges in their businesses and careers.
