School Travel Plans 

The school travel plans below serve as a roadmap for analyzing the social and physical barriers to walking and bicycling to school in Berwyn and for providing recommendations to make walking and bicycling to school the safe, healthy, and convenient choice.

Berwyn Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Study

The TOD Study will be the reference for community leaders to achieve the vision of its residents, property owners, business owners, and friends of the Metra/BNSF Railway Corridor over the next 20 years.

 

Berwyn Corridors

The Corridor Study serves as a guide for the community and its leaders in long term decision making along Cermak Road. 

Roosevelt Road Corridor Study - (Final-1st half.pdf (windows.net)) 

A joint study between Oak Park and Berwyn that establishes cooperative municipal goals, recommends objectives, outlines specific actions, and identifies some of the funding sources available to improve the Roosevelt Road corridor. 

Roosevelt Road Form Based Code - (RooseveltFormBasedCode.pdf (windows.net)) 

The Form Based Code is a zoning overlay adopted across three municipalities, Berwyn, Cicero and Oak Park, along Roosevelt Road to promote walkability while recognizing that is a heavily traveled thoroughfare.
