The City of Berwyn invites residents to participate in a community-wide yard sale weekend as part of its ongoing sustainability initiative to promote reuse and reduce waste.
Residents who register their address will be included on an official event map, helping shoppers easily find and visit participating homes throughout the city.

City of Berwyn Citywide Yard Sale Weekend
At the March 10, 2026 Regular City Council meeting, City Administrator and Sustainability Commission Chair Ruth Siaba-Green announced Berwyn’s first-ever Citywide Yard Sale Weekend. The event will take place on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
This free, community-wide event supports the City’s sustainability goals by encouraging reuse, reducing landfill waste, and bringing neighbors together.
Berwyn residents are invited to register their homes to participate. Registered addresses will be featured on an official interactive and printable event map, making it easy for shoppers to explore sales throughout the community.

Don’t Have Yard Space? You Can Still Join!
Residents without access to yard space are encouraged to participate in the Berwyn Park District’s Summer Yard Sale, held in partnership with the City on Saturday, June 6. Vendor registration is required through the Park District and includes a $30 fee.

Fin de semana de mercadillos de artículos usados en toda la Ciudad de Berwyn
En la reunión ordinaria del Ayuntamiento del 10 de marzo de 2026, Ruth Siaba-Green, la administradora municipal y presidenta de la Comisión de Sostenibilidad, anunció la realización del primer fin de semana de mercadillos de artículos usados (yard sales) en toda la ciudad de Berwyn. El evento se llevará a cabo el sábado 6 y el domingo 7 de junio de 2026, de 9:00 AM a 4:00 PM.
Este evento, gratuito y comunitario, apoya los objetivos de sostenibilidad de la ciudad fomentando la reutilización, reduciendo los residuos en vertederos y uniendo a los vecinos.
Se invita a los residentes de Berwyn a inscribir sus viviendas para participar. Las direcciones registradas aparecerán en el mapa oficial interactivo e imprimible del evento, facilitando a los compradores explorar las ventas en toda la comunidad.

¿No tiene espacio en su jardín? ¡También puede participar!
Se invita a los residentes que no tengan acceso a espacios de jardín a participar en la Venta de Verano del Distrito de Parques de Berwyn (Berwyn Park District’s Summer Yard Sale), que se realizará el sábado 6 de junio en colaboración con la ciudad. La inscripción de vendedores es obligatoria a través del Distrito de Parques, e incluye una cuota de ingreso de 30 dólares.
