Topics include How-To instruction on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, branding, storytelling and following marketing metrics for effective return on investment. Legislative Forum
The BDC is planning its first Legislative Forum in October 2016 in order to connect our business leaders and stakeholders with local, state and federal policymakers on issues that improve our region’s business environment. This event will provides a venue for both members and policy makers to exchange information and dive deeper into business-critical issues such as Tax Reform, Healthcare, Workforce Development, Regulation Reform, Infrastructure Investment and a Competitive Civic Climate.
SCORE Mentoring
SCORE Chicago provides free one-on-one business mentoring on-site at the BDC on various topics from getting a business loan to effective marketing to writing a business plan. Repeat appointments are encouraged as mentors will counsel businesses through their short and long term issues. Appointments are available the 4th Tuesdays of the month at the BDC office.
